Greenlee County is located in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Arizona. As of the 2000 census its population was 8,547. The county seat is Clifton.
History
Greenlee County was created in 1909 and named for Mason (Masin) Greenlee who was an early settler in the Clifton area.
